The Business Academy Dania offers ERASMUS exchange programmes, which enables you to study abroad including financial support for a semester. We have f.ex. partner universities in the UK, France, Hungary and Poland.

Admission requirements;

You must have passed your first year of study before you can apply to the ERASMUS scheme. When you know which partner university you wish to study at, you contact your head of study to make sure that the chosen courses are approved by the Academy. Because your degree is short it is essential that there is a close match between your degree and the subjects you wish to study abroad.

Dania then will nominate you as an ERASMUS student and will ask your lecturers if they think you can benefit from this semester abroad, your general study activity and consider if you will be a good ambassador for Dania. You must also pass your first year with a minimum grade 7 (the Danish Grading scale) in order to qualify.

Our ERASMUS coordinators are always available to help you if this has your interest.

We recommend that you find your own placement but we will help and support you both before, during and afterwards.

”I have gained a huge amount of knowledge not only in my education but as a person. The teachers are experts in their field and the material is very fresh and up-to-date which is relevant in IT”

Mantas Zinkevicius, IT-Technology student

The teaching methods are a combination of class teaching, projects, case studies, external teachers from businesses or other educational institutions, as well as excursions to local businesses. We pay great attention to bring practical experiences into our teaching.

Dania offers you passionate teachers, whom you always can approach for a chat or help, whether it regards your studies or it is of a more personal matter.

At first your studies can seem overwhelming and lots will be different from your high school studies. There will be many new things to relate to and many new people, both teachers and fellow students. Here you will learn to structure and prioritize your time, and as it is a full-time education we expect you to work thoroughly with each subject.

The fun bit...

"Fredagsbar" is the Danish term for Friday afternoon party time, organised by students for students.

DSR (The Student Council) organises also parties, events and have influence on the student life at Dania Viborg. The council members are all students and they are the "voice" of the students.

Parties are normally held around Christmas time and before the summer break, when we need to enjoy ourselves after a hard-working semester. Moreover Dania organises a student trip at the beginning of your first semester.

What we expect of you..

The first real examinations are at the end of the 2nd semester, but we do construct some trial exams so the students know what to expect later on. There are also exams at the end of 3rd and 4th semesters.

During your AP Degree you must complete four projects, and the 4th project is your final one. This is often based on a case from your internship company and this project you must defend at an oral examination. Hereafter you can title yourself IT Technologist AP.
