The internship, which lasts 3 months (13 weeks), is our way of ensuring a natural link between working in theory with strategy and business development and applying it in a real life context. In our opinion, it is absolutely crucial that our graduates can apply the knowledge they gain from studying at the Academy to the benefit of their future career.
The students will take part in the daily management and operations. The internship can in terms of tasks, commitment og flexibility be compared to the duties that BA graduats will assume after graduation. During the internship the students will improve the interpersonal skills and their professional qualifications.
We also encourage our students to think beyond the Danish border and consider going abroad for their internship. As this is an international education, the opportunity of trying to work in another country and with other cultures gives the students an insight into complex issues that managers are facing in the hospitality industry today. It is crucial that the students learn to act in managerial functions of the hospitality industry.
The International Office will assist students going abroad for their internship.
